The Tokyo Skytree is a prominent broadcasting tower and one of Tokyo’s most recognizable landmarks. Located in the Sumida district near Asakusa, it serves as the centerpiece of Tokyo Skytree Town, a modern entertainment and shopping destination. Rising 634 meters above the ground—a number pronounced “Musashi,” the historic name of the region—the tower is the tallest structure in Japan. When it was completed, it ranked as the second-tallest structure in the world. At its base, visitors can explore a large shopping center as well as an impressive aquarium.
The main attraction of the Tokyo Skytree is its two observation decks, which provide breathtaking views across the vast Tokyo metropolis. Positioned at heights of 350 meters and 450 meters, these decks are the highest observation facilities in Japan and offer unforgettable panoramic scenery.
The lower observation area, known as the Tembo Deck, is located 350 meters above ground and occupies three different levels. The uppermost level features expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that deliver spectacular 360-degree views of the city skyline. On the middle level, guests can browse souvenir shops or dine at the Musashi Sky Restaurant, which combines French and Japanese culinary styles. The lowest level includes a café and special glass floor sections that allow visitors to look directly down toward the streets far below.
From the Tembo Deck, visitors can continue upward via another set of elevators to the Tembo Galleria at 450 meters. Often referred to as the world’s highest skywalk, this unique attraction consists of a gradually ascending spiral corridor enclosed by glass and steel. As guests walk along the ramp, they can enjoy thrilling views both downward and across the wider Kanto region.
At the highest point of the spiral walkway is a traditional observation floor equipped with comfortable seating areas and large windows. Officially standing at 451.2 meters above ground, this location marks the highest accessible point within the tower’s observation facilities and offers some of the finest views available in Tokyo.
A visit to Tokyo Skytree begins on the fourth floor, where admission tickets are purchased and checked. High-speed elevators then transport visitors to the upper level of the Tembo Deck. Those wishing to continue higher can buy additional tickets for the Tembo Galleria before ascending to the second observatory. After enjoying both viewing areas, visitors return to the first observation deck and finally descend to the tower’s exit on the fifth floor.

Most are white, though some species stand out with darker tones. The black swan showcases sleek ebony feathers, while the black-necked swan features a bold contrast between its white body and dark head. Interestingly, all swan chicks—called cygnets—begin life dressed in soft shades of gray.

Understanding the Sagittarius Sign and Season

Understanding the Sagittarius Sign and Season

The Sun moves into Sagittarius around November 21, and during this period all the inner planets—Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars—also pass through this zodiac sign at different moments in the month. Because of this, Sagittarius energy tends to be felt in many different ways throughout the season. It is a sign that often feels paradoxical, making it harder to define clearly. How can one archetype represent wisdom and foolishness at the same time, or morality and excess, or excitement and laziness? Sagittarius resists being placed into neat categories and instead tends to stretch across extremes.
